Social networks are dime a dozen these days. We believe that social networking is still in its infancy state. Today you have massive social networks such as Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, SmallWorld etc. where anyone can join and ask other members to become their friends and send virtual drinks and write smiley-laden messages all day long.

Our challenge: to develop an avant garde social platform -- a social desktop on the Web -- that caters toward like-minded group of people who are already banded together by threads of common interests.
